# Connection check failed

> We couldn't check your connection, try again in a moment

Part of verifying is checking the connection you verify from. That check didn't go through this time, which is usually temporary.

## What to do

1. Wait a minute, then get a [new link](https://docs.authenticateme.xyz/help/verification-errors/link-expired.md) and try again.
2. If it keeps happening, check [status.authenticateme.xyz](https://status.authenticateme.xyz) and press **Contact Support**.
