# Disable your ad blocker

> The verification page shows ads on some servers and can't finish while an ad blocker is on.

AuthenticateMe is free for most servers, and the ads on the verification page help keep it that way. On servers without Premium, the page waits for its ad to load and stops if an ad blocker gets in the way.

## Fix it

1. Turn off your ad blocker for **authenticateme.xyz**, or pause it while you verify. You can turn it back on afterwards.
2. In **Brave**, click the Brave Shields icon next to the address bar and turn Shields off for the site.
3. Reload the page, or get a new link by clicking **Verify** in the server.

If it still doesn't work, clear your browser's cookies and cache or try another browser. Some networks and DNS services block ads for every device on them, so try another network or device too.
