# Discord sign-in failed

> Discord didn't share your account details with AuthenticateMe.

> Discord didn't share your account details, try again

When you sign in, Discord tells AuthenticateMe your username and account ID. This time it didn't, which is usually a short hiccup on Discord's side.

## Fix it

1. Get a [new link](https://docs.authenticateme.xyz/help/verification-errors/link-expired.md) and try again.
2. When Discord asks, click **Authorize** without changing anything.
3. If it keeps happening, check [Discord's status page](https://discordstatus.com) and try again later.
