# No verified email

> Discord didn't share an email address for your account, usually because it has none or it isn't verified yet.

> Your Discord account has no verified email

AuthenticateMe needs your account's email address to check it isn't a throwaway one. This error means Discord didn't share one, which happens when your account has no email or the email isn't verified yet.

## Fix it

**1. Check your email in Discord**

Open **User Settings → My Account** and look at **Email**. If it's missing, add one.

**2. Verify the email**

Discord sends you a confirmation email. Open it and click **Verify Email**. Until you do, the address doesn't count.

**3. Verify again**

Go back to the server and verify again.

> [!NOTE]
>
> If Discord says the email is already registered, you probably have a second Discord account using it, for example one made with your phone number. That message comes from Discord, not AuthenticateMe.
