# Maximum verification attempts reached

> You've failed verification as many times as the server allows.

> Maximum verification attempts reached

The server limits how many times someone can fail verification, which stops bots from trying over and over. You've reached that limit.

## What to do

* If the message says when you can **try again**, the server resets attempts after a while. Fix whatever caused your earlier failures, then try again after that time.
* Otherwise, contact the server's staff. Only they can give you more attempts, and it's their decision.

AuthenticateMe's own support team can't reset attempts in someone else's server.
