# Mobile data detected

> The server doesn't accept verification from mobile data connections.

> Mobile data detected, switch to Wi-Fi and try again

You're connected through mobile data (4G or 5G), and the server only accepts verification from other connections.

## Fix it

1. Connect your phone or computer to Wi-Fi, ideally your home network.
2. Open the link again, or get a [new one](https://docs.authenticateme.xyz/help/verification-errors/link-expired.md).

If you only have mobile internet, contact the server's staff. They can verify you themselves.
