# Security check failed

> The verification page's security check couldn't load or finish.

> The security check didn't finish, try again

The verification page runs a quick security check in your browser before it lets you in. It couldn't load, took too long, or was already used.

## Fix it

1. Get a [new link](https://docs.authenticateme.xyz/help/verification-errors/link-expired.md) by clicking **Verify** in the server, and open it once. Don't refresh the page or go back while it's checking.
2. Turn off your ad blocker and any privacy or script-blocking extensions for authenticateme.xyz.
3. Try another browser, or another network or device.

If it keeps happening, press **Contact Support** on the verification page.
