# AuthenticateMe documentation

> Set up AuthenticateMe, tune every verification check, and help your members get verified.

AuthenticateMe is a Discord verification app. New members prove they are real people before they can see your server, while the app quietly screens out alt accounts, ban evaders, VPNs, bots, and raids. You configure everything from a web dashboard, and every check is optional.
